STATE AWARD AND CRITERIA FOR NOMINATION
EXTRA EFFORT |
This is directed to a newer member. Participates on at least one State Committee. Assumes tasks and goes beyond what is asked Demonstrates the ability to be creative and motivated. |
RISING STAR |
Participation on more than one state committee Currently or in the past, chaired a state committee. Demonstrates leadership skills Demonstrates a desire to increase knowledge. Demonstrates a desire to participate further on a state level. |
FOUNDERS
|
Involvement at state level for more than 5 years of service as a Governor, Officer or Committee Chair. |
Participation on several committees |
Chaired several committees. Continued involvement in WCR, offers to help and mentor. |
AFFILIATE OF THE YEAR |
Has been involved at the State Level for three years or more Participation on three state committees, currently or cumulatively Exemplifies the objectives of WCR through willingness to lend a helping hand |
HONOR CIRCLE -LOCAL CHAPTER |
An outstanding member of WCR for two years or less as of July of current year |
MEMBER OF THE YEAR -LOCAL and STATE CHAPTERS |
Shall have been a member for a minimum of 5 consecutive years Officers are ineligible during or within one year after term of office. |
CHAPTER OF THE YEAR |
This award will be presented to the LCP who’s Chapter best exemplifies the leadership qualities necessary to achieve the goals of WCR |
DISTRICT VICE-PRESIDENT OF THE YEAR |
A member who has served as a District Vice President and has shown outstanding leadership qualities in leading the chapters in her/his District. |
MENTOR OF THE YEAR |
Member who has gone the extra mile in giving of their time, talent |
in working and mentoring members through the leadership process. This member must have served as at least one of the following: an officer, a committee chairman, governor, or a DVP |
BUSINESS WOMAN OF THE YEAR |
Guidelines as set forth by National Women’s Council of Realtors. |
LOCAL CHAPTER WEBSITE OF THE YEAR |
Local chapter websites must contain the following elements: Links to Women’s Council of Realtors National and State Site Council Mission and Vision Statements |
History of National, State and local Chapter Local Chapter By Laws and Standing Rules |
Information on District and Events -Governor, DVPs, Area Chapters |
